Label-free based mass spectrometry is one of the most commonly utilised techniques used for qualitative and quantitative characterisation of the global proteome and phosphoproteome of a system of interest. The last few years have witnessed an increase in the number of studies simultaneously focusing on alterations in these two layers of datasets to generate valuable mechanistic insights. Although a number of software suits are available to generate expression matrices, perform differential expressional analysis and functional interpretation for each level, tools that focus on streamlining integrative analysis and interpretation are still lacking.

Therefore, we have developed “Phospho-Analyst”, a user-friendly web platform to perform downstream differential expression analysis and functional enrichment of LFQ based phosphoproteomics and proteomic datasets in an automated way.  ‘Phospho-Analyst’ offers a wealth of analytic features to facilitate statistical, exploratory and comparative analysis of different levels of proteomics datasets. It has been designed for users with a different levels of expertise in phospho/proteomics and statistics, and provides functionalities to download results in the form of tables and graphs along with auto-generated reports of key experimental outcomes.
